Earth Month!

We're celebrating Earth Day all month long! During the entire month of April, Beaver Creek Reserve will be hosting various programs and events to get people outside and learn something new this spring. And at the end of each program, we will draw participants' names for raffle prizes donated by local businesses!

Earth Week is Monday, April 21-Sunday, April 27, 2025 this year! Visit Beaver Creek Reserve and local Eau Claire County Parks for FREE this week. Make sure to scan the QR code at the entrance of any of the county parks to record your visit, or check in at the Wise Nature Center before exploring Beaver Creek. Didn't see a QR code? Check out our event calendar to see what's happening in April! Make sure to register in advance since most programs have registration deadlines. Names will be drawn at the end of each event for prizes. Prizes include: gift cards to local stores, Beaver Creek memberships and discounts to our store, and more!

This year, celebrate Earth Day at our Earth Party! Check out our bird banding demonstration, build Bluebird nest boxes, participate in an outside scavenger hunt, enjoy yummy dirt cups (chocolate pudding with gummy worms), and visit our Voyageur Cabin to learn about the history of fur trading in the Chippewa Valley.

Build Bluebird houses with us! $15 covers the cost of the Bluebird house kit, all the tools and supplies needed to build, and instruction! Sign up ahead of time, or pay at the door.
