School children, citizens, community groups, and other city, county and state organizations are invited to help collect wildlife-related information by recording their sightings and submitting them to a state-wide database. Anyone can become a NatureMapper as long as you have a willingness to observe nature and record your observations. The observations are then used in natural resource management, scientific studies and environmental education. For complete information go to the Wisconsin NatureMapping web site. |
