School children, citizens, community
groups, and other city, county and state organizations are invited to help
collect wildlife-related information by recording their sightings and
submitting them to a state-wide database. Anyone can become a NatureMapper
as long as you have a willingness to observe nature and record your
observations. The observations are then used in natural resource
management, scientific studies and environmental education.
